Denver Broncos mock draft: Post free agency update
One of the most productive defensive backs in the country over his four years in Nebraska, Nathan Gerry brings the type of attitude to the ‘No Fly Zone’ that the Broncos covet. He’s a player that can come in and immediately make an impact on special teams, and eventually figure into the defensive rotation.
Gerry was a wide receiver and defensive back in high school, as well as a return specialist. He’s one of the more instinctive defensive players in this year’s class, with a nose for the football and the ability to deliver punishing hits.
I think as a core special teams player, Gerry will make a huge impact as a rookie.
