The former Denver Broncos special team ace Kayvon Webster has moved on to the city of Los Angeles as he signs with the Rams.

Just a mere hours after losing the defensive captain to retirement, the Denver Broncos have now lost their special teams captain to free agency.

Corner back and special team’s ace Kayvon Webster has signed a two year deal with the Los Angeles Rams, as reported by Adam Schefter.

Webster will be reunited with Wade Phillips, who joined the Rams via free agency in January when the Broncos decided not to bring him back.

One of the unsung heroes during the Denver Broncos Super Bowl run, Kayvon Webster was the sixth member of the No Fly Zone.

While he did not get a whole lot of playing time with Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr., and Bradley Roby leading the way, Kayvon Webster made his own mark on special teams.

During the playoff run, Webster would pin opponents down deep in their own territory.

His play as a corner back was not bad on its own either.

Kayvon’s situation is somewhat similar to David Bruton Jr.’s last season. A solid player who was looking for more playing time.

Unfortunately, that would not be with the Denver Broncos. Despite his special team’s abilities, it was unlikely he was going to have any time on defense if he stayed in Denver.

I would like to see how things pan out for him with the Los Angeles Rams. He should be a great player for them.

Of course, with Wade Phillips on the sidelines, there is no doubt he will be a great addition.

It is sad to see two of the Broncos team captains leave on the same day.

However, there is hope yet for this Denver Broncos team. I wish you the best Kayvon Webster!
