The Denver Broncos added much needed help at the defensive line by signing former Bengals and Colts defensive tackles Domata Peko and Zach Kerr.

As we enter day three of free agency, we began to wonder what the Denver Broncos would do next.

Defensive tackle was next on the list and Elway made sure it was taken care of.

As first reported by Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos signed former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Domata Peko and former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Zach Kerr for two years each.

Peko’s contract details are below. The details of Kerr’s are not yet available.

The Vance Joseph connection could be the reason that Domata Peko was signed by the Broncos. His cousin, Kyle Peko is currently on the Broncos roster as well.

When the team saw Sylvester Williams leave to join the Tennessee Titans, it was imperative that the team find a defensive tackle right away.

Signing Peko and Kerr should help the case. Both players should get some playing time on this defense.

This is especially true in the running game. The Denver Broncos did not fair well last year against the run. Having two big guys playing the middle should help.

It has not been an easy offseason for the Denver Broncos in free agency. However, we must trust in Elway.

He got some pretty solid signings in Peko and Kerr.

Domata Peko has not missed a game in the last seven seasons. This includes nine of the last ten seasons overall.

Next: Sylvester Williams heads to the Music City

While he has hit a slump in his performance, hopefully a new team will help.

For Zach Kerr, he was signed as an undrafted free agent from Delaware University back in 2014. He has not seen a lot of time on the field. However, his size should help the Denver Broncos.

Two pretty solid signings for the Denver Broncos.
