How did the Denver Broncos fare on day one of the NFL Free Agency period? Where do they go from here? Who is still available that can help?

Denver Broncos fans shouldn’t panic. After day one of free agency, John Elway and company have come away with a new starting guard in former Dallas Cowboys stud Ronald Leary. It isn’t the flashiest move, but one of the most necessary moving forward for the Denver Broncos.

Where do we go from here? What else does John Elway have up his sleeve?

We’ll get into a number of different things going on league-wide, and you can watch and listen to some of my initial thoughts on free agency here:

John Elway and the Broncos don’t usually overreact on the first day of free agency. We had all maybe assumed to a certain degree that this year’s class of free agents would be similar to the one we saw in 2014 when T.J. Ward, DeMarcus Ware, and Aqib Talib all signed on pretty much right away.

Those types of players aren’t necessarily out there for the Broncos at their specific positions of need, but despite what it looks like after the frenzy of day one, there are still some very good players available that can help the Broncos.
