Denver Broncos: Tony Romo Time In Denver Is Now

Lynch Time? Not So Fast
With McCoy on board, this seemed to be a move signaling that they were going to tailor an offense around a young Paxton Lynch. It was not even a year ago that John Elway traded up in the first round of the draft to select Lynch, and Gary Kubiak and staff did little to cater to Lynch’s limited capabilities as a young NFL quarterback. Despite all of this, Lynch received very little endorsement from his new head coach, and John Elway himself today.
There is nothing wrong with being a young quarterback, except typically, they aren’t ready to win right away. There is a well-known fact about John Elway, and it’s that he is about as competitive a son of a gun as has ever lived. If anyone thinks for a second that he won’t make a move that can help this team be better now, well then they don’t know John Elway at all.
