Do Not Give A Contract Offer

Casey Krieter

There is not normally a lot of things to say in regards to a long snapper. But if the Denver Broncos are looking for a player with experience, then Thomas Gafford would be the route to go.

I can see Casey Krieter coming back to the team if the Broncos decide to let Gafford walk in free agency.

If the goal is to become younger in free agency, by all means let us get Casey Krieter back. And he would cost less than Gafford. In fact, Krieter would come at half the price of Gafford.

But something tells me that experience would be important at the long snapper position. Another factor that could sway me towards Gafford is the injury of Krieter.

Granted it was a lingering injury and not a serious one, he should return.

But again, I would have to go with experience here.
