Trade Talib?

On this present day, Talib’s lawyer confirmed that he had shot himself in the leg. While the NFL could impose some form of discipline towards him, I would be shocked if that even happened due to the longevity of the issue at hand.

Many outlets had suggested that the Denver Broncos attempt to trade for Tony Romo by sending Aqib Talib to the Cowboys.  While a lot of this was speculation, the team shot the notion down very quickly.

Over the last several months I have engaged in debates with people over the Twittersphere about Aqib Talib and why I think he is perfect for the Denver Broncos. Talib is what I call “the energizer bunny”.

On the field, he is the one guy that can set the tempo for the defense. He is as antagonistic as Richard Sherman, but as calculated as Deion Sanders. In the Broncos win over the Raiders in Week 17, he snatched Michael Crabtree’s chain right off of him.
