As we are closing in on the final unrestricted free agents for the Denver Broncos, I take a look at Justin Forsett and see if he will stay or walk.

The Denver Broncos have an interesting situation at the running back position. Could Justin Forsett be in the mix?

We are nearly finished with all of the unrestricted free agents on our “Keep or Let Walk” series. Today, we will talk about Justin Forsett.

Forsett was brought in by John Elway and the Denver Broncos. C.J. Anderson was injured in Week 7. It was believed that he would return later on.

However, that was not the case. The Broncos needed a veteran presence at running back. Hence why Forsett was called up.

But now that the season is over, do the Broncos see Forsett in their long term plans?

I have a hard time believing that. The team has Devontae Booker right behind Anderson. He was drafted to be the speed guy.

And Kapri Bibbs showed a lot of promise in 2016 before he was hurt and ultimately placed on injured reserve.

Of course, Justin Forsett had his good and bad moments. The bad was his fumbling at the most inopportune times. This includes a fumble on his first carry against the Tennessee Titans.

But there were some good moments for Forsett as a Denver Bronco. He recorded the longest run that season for the team.

A 64-yard run against the Oakland Raiders in the final game of the season was his biggest highlight. (Fast forward to the :45 second mark)

I honestly believe that Justin Forsett could be a great option for any team that is looking for a running back.

Unfortuantely, with Anderson coming back, and Bibbs and Booker in the wings, it will not be with the Denver Broncos.
