Denver Broncos: Keep or Let Demarcus Ware Walk?
By Tylor Walden
In the next installment of Denver Broncos free agents, I take a look and see if the team should keep or let go of Demarcus Ware.
You know and I know how this next installment of the keep or let walk series for Denver Broncos free agents is going to go.
But it has to be done since he will be an unrestricted free agent in March.
Demarcus Ware has been one of the premier players for the Denver Broncos since he arrived in 2014.
He has that leadership quality and can still play at a solid level, granted he remains healthy.
Demarcus Ware was the man who was Von Miller’s mentor. The two together have been such a dynamic duo.
Ware made an immediate impact in 2014, where he recorded 40 tackles and ten sacks.
But the numbers have gone down since then, having only recorded 11.5 sacks in the last two years.
I am giving him a pass on that due to the fact that he missed a lot of time with injuries the past two seasons.
There is another negative in regards to all of this.
Demarcus Ware is not getting any younger. While he did have surgery this offseason, it makes you wonder if he will have anything left in the tank.
According to his comments, he is good to go for the 2017 season.
But now the question lies on where he wants to play. And two teams are in the mix as of right now.
The Denver Broncos and Dallas Cowboys.
It will be interesting to see where Demarcus Ware ends up once free agency begins in a little over two weeks.
Next: Keep or let Sylvester Williams Walk?
Oh, I almost forgot. What I believe. Should the Denver Broncos keep him or let him walk and test free agency?
Come on guys… is this even a question? While age is a factor, I would never pass up on re-signing him.
