Eric Studesville, Tyke Tolbert remain on Denver Broncos’ staff
Vance Joseph continues to impress with his coaching staff, retaining running backs coach Eric Studesville and wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert…
The Denver Broncos kept two coaches from their previous offensive staff, retaining Eric Studesville as running backs coach and Tyke Tolbert as wide receivers coach:
This is the type of move that certainly will win over some of the players on offense, namely C.J. Anderson and Emmanuel Sanders who took to Twitter on Friday to express their excitement over the news…
Studesville has been an excellent coach for the Broncos since coming aboard in the 2010 season. He has coached multiple Pro Bowl running backs and has stayed on now through four different head coaches despite rumors that he could be headed elsewhere.
In 2010, when Josh McDaniels (who hired Studesville) was fired, he was named interim head coach and was considered for the Broncos’ head coaching vacancy in 2011, which ultimately went to John Fox. Fox retained Studesville on his staff, and also hired wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert in 2011.
Tolbert has been with the Broncos now through three different coaching staffs, and has been instrumental in the development of Demaryius Thomas as well as guys like Eric Decker, who has since moved on and now Emmanuel Sanders, who has had three straight seasons with over 1,000 yards receiving.
Tolbert’s work with the receivers has been excellent, and the Broncos will be better for the continuity there.
Vance Joseph continues to make excellent moves for this coaching staff…
