On Kubiak: Two years ago, he'd found contentment as Ravens OC. Wasn't sure he wanted stress of being a HC again. Then, his dream job opened.

As is the case with any head coaching vacancy in the NFL, there are already dots being connected to the next possible head coach in Denver…
Had the #Broncos not brought in Gary Kubiak 2 years ago, they likely would’ve hired now-#Dolphins DC Vance Joseph. Keep an eye on him in DEN

Neither Schefter nor Breer was the very first to report the possibility of Kubiak stepping down as the team’s head coach. It’s been talked about on Denver sports radio for weeks now. We’ve been hesitant to speculate too much out of respect for Kubiak, his family, and because you’re talking about someone’s livelihood.
If Sunday is Kubiak’s last day as the head coach of the Denver Broncos, the team will do everything in their power to send him off right, even if that means forsaking some 2017 NFL Draft positioning.
Kubiak became the Broncos’ head coach less than two years ago, and was the right man for the job in 2015, as the Broncos pushed all the right buttons on their way to a 24-10 victory in Super Bowl 50 over the Carolina Panthers. It will forever be one of this fan’s greatest memories and certainly I’m sure for many of you as well.
While he was head coach of the Houston Texans for a number of years, Kubiak will always and forever be a Bronco.
