Broncos Post Game: Team Suffers Heart Breaking Loss
By Tylor Walden
The Denver Broncos find themselves on the outside looking in after perhaps one of the most heartbreaking losses in team history.
I will not lie to you. I am still in shock as I write this. It was truly a heartbreaking defeat.
After taking the lead with about three minutes to go, the Kansas City Chiefs drove down the field for the game tying touchdown and two point conversion.
Then after the two teams traded field goals, Gary Kubiak decided to go for it all. But Brandon McManus’ missed 62 yarder set up the Kansas City Chiefs for the overtime game winner.
At first, I thought it had hit the upright and missed. But it just made it inside. And the Denver Broncos find themselves behind the Miami Dolphins in the playoff picture with a 30-27 loss.
I will not lie, the defense lost the game for the Denver Broncos. They were up 24-16 with about three minutes to go. All they needed to do was create one more stop and the game was over.

But the defense could not contain them. And the Broncos were outscored 14-3 in the final 18 minutes of the game.
If there is any silver lining to this game, Trevor Siemian played really well tonight. He did not make any mistakes and did all he could to help the Broncos win the game.
This game will be a tough pill to swallow for Broncos fans. The team goes to the east coast the next two weeks and play against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.
This was a much needed win for the Denver Broncos. The offense played the best half I have seen this season minus the Cincinnati Bengals game. And the defense cannot even close the door.
If the season were to end today, the Broncos would miss the playoffs completely. And that is a shame with how they stand record-wise.
These final five games are really critical. The Denver Broncos are going to need to get wins and some help.
Win, lose, or tie. Denver Broncos fan until I die.
