Match Up To Watch:

I want to finish this off with highlighting one match up that I think we have to see our player win. The Raiders do not move their Corners around much. David Amerson, who has played really well this year, will be on the offenses right side.

Sean Smith has usually been the Corner on the left side. We do not know if he will play or not and even if he does we know he won’t be at 100%. Whoever we have at WR on that side of the field needs to win that battle.

We need to see the Raiders have to commit extra help to that side of the field to open up lanes for the run game and some pass lanes up the middle. Usually that side is occupied by Demaryius Thomas.  This should be a great opportunity for him to join Calvin Johnson with the most 100 yard receiving games since 2011.

If we see him win his match up and the Raiders are forced to adjust I think we could see our newest weapon get some great chances over the middle. AJ Derby has gotten high remarks from coaches and players with how well he has learned the system and prepared to play. A couple of big catches by him over the middle and we could see this offense really take off.

We have a chance to really see this offense come alive.  What looks good on paper isn’t always what shows up in the actual games unfortunately. This offense has at times looked like the days of old when we could run all over teams. Then at times we have looked like the offense of last year that struggles to ever get anything going. Here is to hoping that Kubiak has this team ready to make a statement on both sides of the ball with a huge win and the division lead!
