Given how terrible the AFC South is, this probably isn’t happening, but the past decade proves that the Titans aren’t exactly a well-run organization, so who knows. Walker has been on the field for 56% to Anthony Fasano’s 52% of total snaps, so an aggressive offer could steal him away, and I would endorse this move more than any other one on this list.
Walker is one of the best all-around tight ends in football, and is almost the exact kind of guy needed in a Gary Kubiak offense. Putting him and Virgil Green on the field would really help the run game, and he would be the #3 weapon that the passing game so desperately needs.
The Broncos should explore trading for a starting tight end regardless, as Green is nowhere near as good a receiver as he is a blocker. John Phillips is your standard backup tight end, and the fact that Jeff Heureman is sitting behind him speaks volumes.
The Browns are trying to accumulate picks, so I would assume that everyone on their 0-6 roster could be had for the right price. Gary Barnidge would be a nice addition to this offense, and if the Browns balked at a deal, Elway could head west to Chicago and inquire about Zach Miller.
Either way, they need another tight end. Badly.
