Heading into last year, the offensive line had more holes than Swiss cheese. This year, there has been steady improvement with every quarter. That is the mark of a good football team if a team’s biggest weakness is getting better as the game goes on. The loss of Donald Stephenson does hurt the right side of the line of scrimmage and an area of concern is Ty Sambrailo. Michael Schofield, the player in every fan’s offensive line doghouse has played better than Sambrailo at guard and that is saying a lot.

The addition of Russell Okung to the offense line will benefit the future of this team’s success in the run game and pass game. Broncos’ fans enjoyed the time Ryan Clady spent with the Denver Broncos, but Okung is healthy and can provide quicker feet than Clady to protect the blind side of Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch.

Matt Paradis, despite some of the grief the offensive line receives, has solidified himself as one of the best centers in the league. The Broncos center pushes the line of scrimmage with power and tremendous balance for his position to stay with the strong nose tackles. However, despite the steady improvement in the game the offensive line is graded out at C+.
