From another team’s perspective, what are your takes on Broncos QB Trevor Siemian through the first three games?

Well, had you asked me about this prior to week one I would have told you that beating out Mark Sanchez is no great accomplishment. But, now that I have seen him play, I am very impressed.

What sticks out right away is his accuracy. In a league where we look at a 60% completion rate as the acceptable standard, Siemian entering this week’s game completing 67% of his passes is outstanding. Clearly, he learned well from Peyton Manning. He has improved from week to week, and that is exactly what you want out of your young quarterback.

He also has shown a maturity and poise in the pocket well beyond his years. Brock Osweiler made a lot of headlines by leaving for Houston, but Broncos’ fans should not be disappointed with the man under center.
