Denver Broncos: Trevor Siemian leads team to win

The Denver Broncos had a successful second half performance by Trevor Siemian to go to 3-0 to start the season.
So, tell me, who is doubting Trevor Siemian right now?
The seventh round quarterback had an excellent second half performance and the Denver Broncos outscored the Bengals 13-3 in the second half to record a 29-17 win over the AFC North opponents.

Trevor Siemian struggled a bit in the first half, but had a spectacular second half as he finished the game throwing for over 300 yards for the first time in his career. Not to mention he recorded 4 touchdown passes.
The defense struggled a bit to start the game, allowing a plethora of running yards. But the defense executed in the second half. This included three sacks by Shane Ray, who was filling in for an injured Demarcus Ware.
And the Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller also got to Andy Dalton. It was an excellent performance all around.
I will be giving my three stars of the game for the Broncos vs. Bengals.
Third Star- Shane Ray
The three players that I will be selecting I wish I could make them all the first star of the game. But sadly, I cannot. So, the third star goes to the outside linebacker not named Ware or Miller.

Shane Ray recorded six tackles and three sacks in the game. Two of those sacks came on the same drive. Shortly after Demaryius Thomas fumbled the football, Ray responded with two straight sacks.
Last year, Shaquil Barrett had a successful game against the Browns when he found out that he was going to start in Cleveland last season. Shane Ray must have taken a page out of Barrett’s book.
Second Star- Emmanuel Sanders
There was frustration displayed by the wide outs for the Denver Broncos for their lack of production in the first two games. And Sanders got involved with the Broncos right away.
He recorded 9 receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns. One of his touchdowns was a highlight reel score that gave the Broncos their first lead of the game.
It is great to see Sanders getting involved with the passing attack. It seemed like he made a huge play every time he caught the ball.
First Star- Trevor Siemian
A lot of individuals thought that Trevor Siemian would struggle in his first road game of the season. He proved them wrong. I had a feeling he would, but did not expect this second half performance.

Siemian finished the game with 23/35 passing for 312 yards and four touchdowns in his first road game of his career. That made his QBR 132.1 for the game. Not bad for a 7th Round Draft Pick.
Despite his first half, which saw him almost get intercepted twice, he calmed down and had an excellent second half. It also marked the first time he did not turn the ball over in a game this season.

What an excellent performance by the Broncos. The team stays on the road and travels to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers, who are currently playing the Los Angeles Rams as of this post.
Go Broncos!
