We take a look at the final injury report for the Denver Broncos vs the Indianapolis Colts heading into Sunday’s game.
As we move into week 2 of the NFL, we take a look at the injury report for the Broncos’ next opponent, the Indianapolis Colts.
No longer is it a rematch of a legend against his former team, a rematch that went less than ideal for the Denver Broncos. With no more emotional baggage to weigh over game day the Broncos are ready to end the skid, how is the health of the 0-1 Colts as we approach game day? Hint: Siemian very well could have a big day.
While the Broncos are pleasantly healthy, the Colts are far from it. Indianapolis’ injury report is as follows:
LB Trent Cole, doubtful (back)
CB Vontae Davis, out (ankle)
S Clayton Geathers, questionable (child birth)
S TJ Green, out (knee)
LB Robert Mathis, questionable (foot)
CB Patrick Robinson, out (concussion)
DE Henry Anderson, out (full)
CB Darius Butler, questionable (ankle)
CB Antonio Cromartie, questionable (hamstring)
DT Zach Kerr, questionable (foot)
DE Kendall Langford, questionable (knee)

Other than having a safety out for giving birth, the Colts biggest concern is the multitude of DBs that are going to be unavailable against the Broncos.
With a defensive unit that was already expected to be one of the worst in the AFC Trevor Siemian and company will have the chance to throw up and down the field if they so choose.
While playing against a QB of Andrew Luck’s caliber you should never take anything for granted, but this match up is shaping up nicely for the Denver Broncos.
Friday injury report for both teams
For the Denver Broncos, the biggest injury news comes from Derek Wolfe, who is questionable with a neck injury. His status for Sunday will most likely be determined on how he feels before the game.
As for Demaryius Thomas, it is said that he will play, although it might have been in the best interest to have him sit this game. Hip injuries can linger for a long time. The last thing the Broncos want is for Thomas to aggravate that injury and he would be out longer.
We will see what happens on Sunday when the Broncos host the Colts.
Go Broncos.
