Question #1

What are your takes on the Carolina Panthers offseason? Is there one thing that has surprised you?

The Panthers offseason was an equal mix of good and bad. On the downside, and probably the biggest offseason surprise, is the obvious with the Josh Norman incident which has left the team with a rather nerve-racking situation at cornerback.”

Another thing listed in the “bad” would have to be the inability to get a deal done with Kawann Short. Obviously there’s time yet next offseason to work that out but I’m sure the team would have liked to get it done as soon as possible.”

There’s still plenty of good though in Carolina. For one, they lost very few pieces to their 2015 NFC Championship team and if anything have gotten stronger in certain areas (wide receiver, defensive line).”
