“Containing Cam, [Newton] again. I said before the Super Bowl that if we got into Cam’s head, we’d have him. And we did. And Chris Harris, Jr. confirmed it – when he stated the game plan was to load the box and see if Cam could carry the team.”
“Carolina will be motivated to win opening day and trying to get the bad taste of the Super Bowl loss out of their mouths. They have had all offseason to prepare and they have to sit thru our opening day celebrating.”
“They will be seeing us raising the banners, so we will see a better prepared and more determined team. We’ve got to come hit them hard and get them off balance again.”
