Champions are always going to be number one until they lose.  Don’t like it?—Sorry.  Yes the quarterback situation isn’t as great as a defending champion would hope, but the Broncos themselves feel far more comfortable where they are at with the position than the majority of the country.  The fact of the matter is the defense is still incredible, and on that, and behind a bigger emphasis on the run game, the Broncos still should be a top team in the league.
