Thursday, Nov. 17th-

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers:

Out to avenge an early season road loss to the Saints, the Panthers come out and punch the Saints right in the mouth.  Jonathan Stewart rushes for 86 yards in the 1st quarter as the Panthers own a 24-0 lead at halftime.  The Panthers have officially hit their stride, and now the only thing left to do is stay healthy for the playoff push.

The Pick:  Panthers 38  Saints 6

Sunday, Nov. 20th-

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns:

On this day, Big Ben does nothing to take his name out of the MVP race—just another three TD’s in the air, and another 300 yard passing game.  RGIII doesn’t have a bad day as the Browns offense does some real nice things, but their inability to keep pace with the Steelers “Star Wars” offense doom sthem on this day.

The Pick:  Steelers 35  Browns 27

Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys:

The Ravens come to JerryWorld trying to make a statement that they deserve a seat in the big dance.  The Cowboys are just a little too good on this day, using their incredibly balanced offense to maintain long drives.  Finishing those drives with touchdowns really helps too.

The Pick:  Cowboys 24  Ravens 17

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions:

Two teams that nobody expected to be above .500 get to battle it out in Motown as both offenses put up great numbers.  A late Bortles to Julius Thomas touchdown strike makes the Jags offense just a little better on this day, and solidifies the win for the young squad.

The Pick: Jaguars 31  Lions 27

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts:

The Colts certainly don’t have the AFC South locked up by any means with the Jaguars right on their tails, but a showdown with the Titans means an easy victory for the Colts, and no ground lost in the race for the division championship.

The Pick:  Colts 26  Titans 16

Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals:

The Bengals desperately need a win to keep up in the AFC North race.  After Tyrod Taylor comes in and lights up the Bengals for three TD’s in the air and another on the ground, it seems more likely that the Steelers are going to runaway with this division.

The Pick:  Bills 34  Bengals 27

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs:

The Bucs have certainly been a surprise team this season, but a trip to Arrowhead is a tough task for any team.  The Bucs are right there the whole way, but a late Winston INT sends them home a close loss.

The Pick:  Chiefs 23  Buccaneers 20

Chicago Bears at New York Giants:

The Giants are quietly staying in contention for the NFC East title.  Also, the Giants defense has quietly got better throughout the year.  An easy win against the Bears only help the confidence of this more than capable team.

The Pick:  Giants 27  Bears 14

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings:

The Vikings are trying to get themselves back into the playoff picture after a very slow start.  Adrian Peterson again decides it’s time to pop off, and rushes for 122 yards, but adds three touchdowns.  However, they are doomed on this day by a Sam Bradford pick six, and the Cardinals get the W.

The Pick:  Cardinals 34  Vikings 24

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams:

The Dolphins travel cross country for a date with the Rams and on this day, Tannehill cannot get anything going.  Todd Gurley proves why he is one of the premier backs in the league, and the Rams blow the doors right off the Dolphins.

The Pick:  Rams 27  Dolphins 10

New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers:

Patriots—top-10 team in the league with Brady.  49ers—rebuilding effort.  Need we proceed?

The Pick:  Patriots 38  49ers 17

Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks:

See:  New England Patriots at San Francisco 49ers

The Pick:  Seahawks 34  Eagles 12

Green Bay Packers at Washington Redskins:

A rematch of last years wildcard round goes roughly the same, except this time it’s even more lopsided.  Rodgers pops off for four TD’s and 421 yards passing, repeatedly picking on Josh Norman, who has really had trouble adjusting to a man to man scheme.

The Pick:  Packers 35  Redskins 17

Monday, November 21st-

Houston Texans at Oakland Raiders:

The Texans, as they have for the majority of the season struggle mightily on offense, but do a good job forcing Derek Carr into three interceptions and keeps them in the game.  Looking for a little revenge for a five-sack day a year ago from Khalil Mack, Brock Osweiler finally puts together a late touchdown drive as the Texans find a way to get it done in the Black Hole.

The Pick:  Texans 20  Raiders 17
