Thursday, Nov. 10th-

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are back as John Harbaugh has the team back in the playoff hunt after a miserable 2015.  Joe Flacco passes for 382 yards and three TD’s on this Thursday night, and RGIII struggles mightily, getting sacked six times on this night.

The Pick:  Ravens 31  Browns 13

Sunday, Nov. 13th-

Green Bay Packers at Tennessee Titans:

The Titans are not match for the NFC juggernaut Packers.  Marcos Mariota is forced to leave the game in the third quarter after taking a big hit and landing on his shoulder.  The Titans are going to be in line for yet another high draft pick.

The Pick:  Packers 27  Titans 9

Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins:

The Vikings were a sleeper Super Bowl pick by many before the season, and much more so before the injury to Teddy, but right now find themselves in desperate need of a win.  They play like it, as Adrian Peterson takes it upon himself to get the Vikings back on track.  He has certainly slowed down a little bit this season, but not on this day as he rushes for 189 yards including TD runs of 36 and 52 yards.  It doesn’t matter if Sam Bradford is playing subpar football when you have a freak like Peterson toting the rock.

The Pick:  Vikings 27  Redskins 20

Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

Jameis Winston continues his strong play this season, passing for two TD’s and no INT’s, and rushing for another score and finishing the day with 56 rushing yards.  The Bears have a late lead, but a two minute drive leads the Bucs down the field for a game winning field goal.

The Pick:  Buccaneers 24  Bears 23

Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers:

A matchup of two defensive minded teams typically provides for a very good game.  However, when one of the two teams is also the top offensive unit in the league, it makes it very difficult on the other team, especially on the road.

The Pick:  Panthers 26  Chiefs 17

Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles:

This game starts bad for the home team, and doesn’t get a lot better.  By halftime, the Eagles are being booed off the field as they only get to first downs in the first half.  It’s tough to be a rookie quarterback in Philadelphia.

The Pick:  Falcons 20  Eagles 3

Los Angeles Rams at New York Jets:

The Rams are the epitome of a .500 football team.  Since they lost in week nine, it would make sense that they would play a very good game this week, holding the Jets to only 218 net yards at home.

The Pick:  Rams 24  Jets 10

Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints:

The Broncos defense comes out and controls the first half, limiting the Saints to only 79 yards, and zero points at halftime.  Unfortunately the Broncos offense can only manage two filed goals, and the Saints put together two second half touchdowns, both started by Paxton Lynch interceptions.

The Pick:  Saints 14  Broncos 9

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars:

After a bye week, the Texans are determined to come out and score some points in this one.  The Texans open with two first quarter TD’s and Brock Osweiler plays a brilliant first half as he totals 222 yards passing and three TD’s.  The second half is a different story, as Osweiler is sacked three times, and throws for two interceptions, one that is returned for a TD.  An early road lead turns into a late road deficit, and Brock leaves the field with his head down, and after the game refuses to speak with the media as he slips out the back door.

The Pick:  Jaguars 38  Texans 31

Miami Dolphins at San Diego Chargers:

The Dolphins come to San Diego, expecting an easy win.  What they weren’t expecting was to get punched in the mouth, as Melvin Gordon gets the run game going strong for the Chargers, rushing for a career best 166 yards and two TD’s.  The Dolphins hang in there, but the Chargers ultimately make it two in a row for the first time all year.

The Pick:  Chargers 20  Dolphins 17

Dallas Cowboys at Pittsburgh Steelers:

The Cowboys have played well, but the Steelers have been better.  That continues  this week as the Cowboys have a tough time running the ball on the Steelers, and Big Ben lights up the Cowboys secondary.  Roethlisberger is certainly in the mix for league MVP, as he tosses for 424 yards and five TD’s on this afternoon making fantasy owners around the world proud.

The Pick:  Steelers 52  Cowboys 27

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals:

The 49ers come to Arizona for a matchup against one of the top teams in the NFC.  That’s all.

The Pick:  Cardinals 35  49ers 12

Seattle Seahawks at New England Patriots:

For the first time since the Super Bowl two years ago, these two powerhouse franchises matchup in a Sunday Night affair.  This time, with the game on the line, at the Patriots 2-yard line, the Seahawks run the ball.  What do you know?

The Pick:  Seahawks 27  Patriots 24

Monday, Nov. 14th-

Cincinnati Bengals at New York Giants:

The Giants are quietly a .500 football team, and despite being a home underdog, the Giants put up one heck of a Monday night performance in Jersey.

The Pick:  Giants 26  Bengals 24
