3. Tight Ends

For the Denver Broncos tight ends, I see Virgil Green continuing his stellar preseason performance, solidifying his spot as the No. 1 tight end on the Denver Broncos depth chart. I was expecting him to have a bit of a competition with Heuerman and Graham. But since both have been dealing with injuries, Virgil has run away with the job with his performance the first two games.

I see him winning the first string job if he does well in Saturday’s game. I will also go and say keep an eye on Henry Krieger-Coble in this game. If Heuerman and/or Graham are forced to miss any of the game tonight, this will be his big chance to show the coaching staff what he is capable of.

Here at Predominantly Orange, we have been really impressed with HKC’s skill set and his potential. If he can prove that he can be a solid contributor on special teams and makes the most of his reps on the offense in the game against the Los Angeles Rams, then I could see him taking that next step towards a potential roster spot.

If Jeff Heuerman or Garrett Graham do not play tonight, this could be trouble for them in regards to a spot on the roster. Although, I think Graham could be more in danger of losing a spot than Heuerman.
