1. Siemian WILL cement his job as the opening day starter in tonight’s game. While many Broncos fans see this as the inevitable move, I believe that Siemian will play well enough today to calm any skepticism revolving around his presence in the starting line up on Sept. 8th against the Panthers.

With the exception of the pick six, Siemian played very well in his first start against the 49ers last week. He was precise with his throws and stayed composed throughout much of his time on the field. I believe that he has the demeanor, physical skill set and leadership attributes necessary to lead the Broncos in the beginning of the 2016 NFL season (and possibly beyond).

The 2nd part of the prediction is that Paxton Lynch will be the second QB to play tonight. With Mark Sanchez essentially a non-factor in the starting QB race, it’s important to accelerate Lynch’s development and increase his time with members of the starting offense. Whether it’s one series or a full quarter, Lynch needs and DESERVES valuable playing time with the starters in this game. The future is now at the Broncos QB position and it’s very important that the two youngsters get every opportunity possible to gain valuable game reps.
