The Denver Broncos lead the Los Angeles Rams 10-9 going into the locker rooms. Let us take a look at how the game has gone for the Broncos up to this point.

In their last preseason game at home, the Denver Broncos lead the Los Angeles Rams 10-9 at the half. It has been a defensive battle between both teams.

However, the Rams have done the better job at keeping the Broncos offense off the scoreboard, up until the last few minutes of the half. And the Broncos defense has done well, just not enough to keep them off the board.

Here are some of the key moments from my point of view from the third preseason game.

What has been the really surprising part in the game from the beginning was the way Gary Kubiak went about the offense in the first two series. It was run after run.

Trevor Siemian has done a solid job thus far. His only mistake was an interception deep in Los Angeles territory that most would probably agree should have been an incomplete pass.

As the first half was coming to a close, we did get to see Siemian drive down the field and have it end with a touchdown pass to Virgil Green. With the camp that Green has had, it was great to see him get a touchdown in the preseason.

On the Rams side, Case Keenum did pretty well leading the first team offense. Some of the plays he made were pretty nice if I do say so myself. After the interception, Keenum’s night was done and Jared Goff took over.

Goff has shown the abilities to be a reason why he was selected with the No. 1 overall pick. This quarterback could be something special for the Rams organization.

One play that really grinds my gears was the boneheaded play by Aqib Talib to knock the quarterback out of bounds as he was running out. It could be a close call, but due to the nature of the hit as he was giving himself up, it was not a pretty sight.

The Denver Broncos will get the football to start the second half. Let us see what Siemian and Paxton Lynch can do in the second half.
