Doss addressed the media today stating there needs to be more consistency while in the NFL.

“That’s the thing about the NFL, you have to be consistent on all phases, defense and special teams. That’s what I’m working on.”

He is instincts are close to insane for a cornerback and Chris Harris thinks the emergence of Doss could make this defense even better this year.

“I definitely think so. We’re going to have a lot of depth, especially corner-wise. Everybody is more mature, especially in the secondary. It’s hard to find many holes. Even with our young guys, they play very well.”

Harris was referring to both Kayvon Webster and Doss, who together are having very nice camps. Webster will be slated early to take the nickel corner spot on defense, but the emergence of Doss could mean he might see time there also on certain packages.

Harris addressed what he has seen from both Webster and Doss today after practice.

“They just continue to make plays. Just continuing to learn every day, there’s something that you have to fix every day. Those guys are doing a good job of fixing their errors, not making the same mistakes two days in a row. I think that’s huge for a young corner.”
