At 1:20, we see the Broncos’ seventh and final sack of the game against the Chicago Bears, this one coming from rookie safety Will Parks.

It wasn’t as delayed as T.J. Ward’s sack, but Parks came up into the box and the Broncos disguised a linebacker blitz and sent Parks from the other side instead.

This was likely a simple read of where the protection was sliding, and Parks took advantage as the gates of the Chicago offensive line flung wide, paving the way for a very easy sack in Parks’ first NFL game.

Parks had a really solid game overall, and this sack capped off a fine evening. This sack also came on third-and-five, so the Broncos killed another drive here with — per Wade Phillips — a sack that wasn’t on a blitz.

It was an impressive night for Broncos pass rushers and the defense in general. Hopefully we continue to see them feast against the San Francisco 49ers.
