During his time with the Tulane Green Wave in college, Lorenzo Doss has shown incredible ball hawk instincts and range when a Broncos quarterback has thrown his way. Here some highlights from Doss’ career with the Green Wave.

Mark Sanchez has seen Doss intercept him multiple times in camp; however, the Bears saw the talent of Doss take center stage. Doss corralled the ball on a carom, but it was a case of him, again, finding the ball. With Kayvon Webster expected to assume the nickel corner position filling the role by Bradley Roby’s spot (Roby takes the role originally given to Aqib Talib).

At least, from what I can recall, it has been awhile since the Broncos have been five deep at the cornerback position. Doss could very well be a future nickel corner with the Broncos, but the team can continue to move up the ranks by intercepting passes in camp from the quarterbacks and in games. He understands it will be a battle to make the team.

“I’m just trying to get better and work on my technique. I’m listening to the older guys like Aqib Talib, Chris Harris, Bradley Roby and Kayvon Webster. Those are they guys who have been in the situation. I’m just trying to grind and get better each day.”
