Denver Broncos are lucky to have depth at the safety position; however it is still troubling when a player is suspended. Shiloh Keo got the news today he will miss two games.

Keo is suspended for violating the conduct policy of the NFL for his DUI a week after the Super Bowl in February. Troy Renck, formerly of the Denver Post, stated a suspension was likely for the 28-year old safety.

Two games does not seem like a huge deal; however, after the performance by Will Parks in the first preseason game, Keo’s place on the actual roster is in question. Keo signed a deal with the Broncos after posting on Twitter he was interested in the franchise. Now, he finds himself in a precarious situation.

Broncos can release Keo, if they so desire, but the team has yet to make it clear if that is the direction they will go. Keo sealed the victory over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game sending the Broncos to back to the Super Bowl since the devastating loss to Seattle in 2013.

Seventh-round pick, Will Park, from Arizona will step in for Keo on the defense and in special teams. Look for Park to make his presence felt in both of those areas early and often in the regular season.
