Until last year, the Broncos were effective with Peyton Manning “manning” the helm in the Red Zone. In his last year, the team placed 28th in the Red Zone in efficiency. That is inexcusable for a quarterback and the weapons on all sides for the Hall of Famer. This year, Broncos wide receivers must quickly establish a relationship with all three quarterbacks in the Red Zone.

Mark Sanchez looked decent. Struggled against the number one defense; however at times would punch it in when he needed to. A steady run game will be effective for Sanchez in the scoring area; along with a much-improved offensive line. Both are expected this season.

Both Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch showed tremendous anticipation with the wide receivers connecting on throws for touchdowns before the target broke free from the defensive back. Siemian found Emmanuel Sanders on a great score in the middle of the end zone; while, Lynch used a terrific touch pass with Kalif Raymond for a score.

All three quarterbacks had great days in the scoring area showing the improvement from last year. The coaches have made it known they want better scoring by practicing in the Red Zone two days in a row. Expect the same result as Training Camp rolls on in the month of August.
