It is a week and a half into Training Camp and the Broncos still have question marks regarding multiple positions. The team face an old friend in John Fox as the Broncos will play the Chicago Bears on Thursday next week on the 11th of August.

The reps at the quarterback position will be the vocal point of where they go to replace the Hall of Famer Peyton Manning. Mark Sanchez is the clear favorite to take the lead, yet he has had multiple throws either on the ground or the “No Fly Zone” defense. Trevor Siemian arm and decision making continues to be questioned. The future of the quarterback position, Paxton Lynch has had rookie moments, but flashed number one draft pick quality throws; however, he is slightly behind the two.

Bennie Fowler continues to impress Gary Kubiak and the rest of the coaches as the wide receiver proves to be the deepest it has ever been. As stated earlier, Fowler will maintain his number three receiver spot in the offense, but the production in camp could signal a bigger year for the Michigan State Spartan.

Red zone offense is an area the Broncos must excel coming into the season. They were 28th in the NFL in Red Zone effectiveness. With the amount of weapons at the quarterback’s disposal, the team should at least be better as the offensive line continues to glue and should be better this year. Even with a better running game, the Broncos effectiveness must continue this year.

Broncos defense looks to be refreshed and ready to roll in the 2016 season opener against Carolina. While the quarterbacks are sorted out, the defense resumes their turnover tenacity, as they will try to dethrone themselves as the best defense of all-time. Chris Harris, TJ Ward, Bradley Roby have all played lights-out coverage breaking up intended touchdown passes and taking interceptions to the house. Rod Smith today, said the Broncos defense could end up being better than last years historic Super Bowl winning team.
