We have made it clear Demaryius Thomas must have a bounce back year. Today, Thomas got some more motivation for his 2016-2017 campaign. Thomas learned this morning before camp got started that President Obama would pardon his grandmother. She is expected be reunited with Thomas in December.

Statistically, Thomas had a great year in 2015-2016. 1,300 yards, six touchdowns and 12.4 yard average would say Thomas was his old self; however, due to the case of the drops his play would be questioned. In camp, Thomas appears to be fresher and has a clear mind in hopes to bounce back in the season. Thomas disappeared in the Super Bowl, but he will look to be more physical and ready for the Josh Norman-less Carolina Panthers.

My wish for Thomas has been to be more physical at the line of scrimmage and finish plays with a vengeance. Thomas has the makings to be on the best wide receivers to don a Broncos uniform, but the Georgia Tech will have to reclaim his elite status for media to take notice again. If you were to look for a player with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove, Thomas would be a top the list. Thomas must prove he has quick rapport with any of the Broncos new quarterbacks to continue to perform at a high level.
