The Denver Broncos have made some roster moves today as two of the bigger stars of the No. 1 defense in 2015 have been placed on the Non-Football Injury list. Could this be something Broncos fans should be worried about?
With just one more day until training camp begins, the veterans and the rest of the team have reported to camp. However, the team will have three players that will not be able to start training camp right away.
After defensive end Kenny Anunike (knee) was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list on Monday, two more members of the Broncos defense was placed on the Non-Football Injury list. Corner back Aqib Talib (leg) and Demarcus Ware (back) were placed on the list.
Broncos sign WR Marlon Brown and place CB Aqib Talib on the NFI list.

Also, OLB Demarcus Ware has been placed on the NFI list with a back injury.

For Aqib Talib, the injury stems from a night club incident back in June where he was shot in the leg. It is unclear if it was self-inflicted on accident or someone shot him, but it will keep him out for a little bit. Head coach Gary Kubiak expects Aqib Talib to be back “real soon.”
For Demarcus Ware, he has been battling back injuries for quite some time. This could be something that has stemmed since last season when he missed five games for the injury. Gary Kubiak has listed him as “day-to-day.”
With how deep the defense has been, these moves would not have me thinking the sky is going to fall. It is important for these players to get healthy. It can also help to see what the Denver Broncos have on the roster to start training camp.
Look for players like Kayvon Webster, Shaquil Barrett, and Shane Ray to take advantage and show the Broncos coaching staff what they have to offer. But for now, I would not be too concerned.
Training camp starts on Thursday Morning. Keep it here at Predominantly Orange as we keep you updated on all things that go down during the dog days of summer as the Broncos look to get ready for the 2016 season as the defending champions.
