Von Miller

So, what has not been said of Von Miller yet? Because there are not enough words out there that have not already been said about his performance ever since he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2011 as the second overall pick.

We all knew that Miller was something special, but he really stepped it up in the last two games of the season for the Denver Broncos. His five sacks, two forced fumbles, and interception in the AFC Championship Game and Super Bowl 50 was quite a performance. Tom Brady and Cam Newton never knew what hit them.

The biggest question for Von Miller going into training camp is how will he perform after missing all of the offseason workouts while on his celebrity tour? And will he live up to his big time contract?

It will be something to watch closely, but if he can play with the same kind of intensity that he did in the Super Bowl, I will have no doubts.

Demarcus Ware

The Denver Broncos have quite the defensive leader in Demarcus Ware. His leadership and play on the field have been something worth seeing week by week.

Despite his injuries with his back this past season, he was still able to turn in a productive season and be that leader to Von Miller and the other young guys. Despite missing the five games during the season, he was a productive player and even turned up the heat in the playoffs.

In the AFC Divisional Game against the Steelers, he recovered a key fumble that would lead to the touchdown that put the Broncos ahead for good. In the Super Bowl, Demarcus Ware recorded five tackles and two sacks. One of the sacks on Cam Newton ended the first half and perhaps halted any momentum that the Panthers could have gotten to start the second half.

A future Hall of Famer, Ware took a paycut this season to help out the team. Entering the final year of his contract, could we see another great player hang up the cleats? Well, no matter if he does or not, his heart for the game is great and I know he will continue to be a great player on this defense.
