Brandon Marshall

This offseason for the Broncos was all about signing the linebackers. After another productive season, Brandon Marshall was able to cash in and sign a four year deal worth $32 million. And here is the kicker. $20 million of it is guaranteed. Well deserved for a guy who is often confused for the wide receiver.

Marshall has come a long way. He was on the Broncos practice squad just two years ago. When Von Miller suffered the ACL injury during the 2013 season, Marshall was promoted to the active roster and never looked back. Since the 2014 season, he has recorded 215 tackles. That is quite a remarkable stat. He has developed into one of the better tacklers in the league.

With Trevathan’s departure, Brandon Marshall figures to have a bigger role in 2016. I anticipate that the production will continue.

Todd Davis

With Trevathan gone, there will be one spot open in the linebacker position. All signs point to Todd Davis being the linebacker to win the job. It makes the most sense because he is the more experienced.

During his NFL career, he has recorded 43 tackles. But that number will most likely jump up now that he is getting more playing time.
