Edge Rusher

1st String: Von Miller, DeMarcus Ware

2nd String: Shane Ray, Shaquil Barrett

Von Miller is now the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. DeMarcus Ware — who is recovering from back problems — is going to have a smaller role, but will still pop up in the starting lineup.

Shane Ray is the 2015 first round pick who showed flashes of his dominant Missouri self last season, but needs consistency. He should have a breakout year two while playing the majority of snaps, giving DeMarcus Ware more of a rest.

Shaquil Barrett is becoming one of the worst kept secrets in the NFL, as his production in the preseason finally translated to production in the regular season. He plateaued a bit last year, but was incredibly impactful as the team’s primary backup to Ware and Miller.
