Tight End

1st String: Virgil Green

2nd String: Jeff Heuerman

With Owen Daniels and Vernon Davis both gone this offseason, the Broncos will turn to former seventh round pick Virgil Green to be the guy at tight end.

Green has developed a really solid overall game as a blocker and receiver, but we haven’t seen a  ton of the latter in regular season play. He came out of college as an athletic H-back style player, but became known for his blocking early on.

Behind Green on the depth chart is going to be either Jeff Heuerman or Garrett Graham, and because of how high the Broncos are on Heuerman, I’m giving him the nod to open camp as the no. 2 tight end.
