Fullback

1st String: Juwan Thompson

2nd String: Andy Janovich

With the return of the fullback position comes a change of positions for Juwan Thompson, who’s played some fullback but not a whole lot. It also prompted the drafting of Janovich from Nebraska, a guy who can do a lot of different things for your football team.

The name of the game for each of these players is versatility, but ultimately I think the Broncos will keep Janovich for this role. He’s more of a traditional blocker/power fullback than is Thompson, who is a running back by trade but can also excel in other areas.

The Broncos can use these guys both on special teams, so perhaps they will keep both on the roster, Thompson as a RB/FB hybrid.
