THE REST

B.J. Lowery, John Tidwell

More from Predominantly Orange

Lowery is a former Iowa Hawkeyes cornerback that signed a futures deal with Denver in the offseason. He has not played in any NFL games since his departure from Iowa in 2013, but he’ll be a candidate for the practice squad.

John Tidwell, a rookie undrafted free agent out of the University of Sioux Falls (SD), made an impression for Broncos scouts in attendance at the local pro day this past Spring.

Tidwell was incredibly productive as both a cornerback and return specialist for the Cougars, and his hope is to make an impact in training camp and the preseason to earn a spot on the practice squad. The fifth and sixth cornerback spots are not overly solidified despite Doss and Nixon’s draft status, so perhaps Tidwell can contend for one of those jobs as well.

He chose the Broncos over the Raiders after the draft, and is a Colorado native.
