6. Taurean Nixon

Nixon was promoted to the active roster just before the AFC Championship game this past year after spending the entire regular season and first round of the playoffs on the practice squad.

A seventh round pick and teammate of Lorenzo Doss in college at Tulane, Nixon is an athletic player who figures to be another in line for some reps on special teams.

As with anyone behind Kayvon Webster on the depth chart, reps are going to be very hard to come by. Luckily for guys like Nixon, the process of learning on the job and getting to make an impact on special teams is ripe for the picking.

The Broncos proved over the course of this last year how important ball control and special teams are, and Nixon should be in line to be part of that success.
