5. Lorenzo Doss
Lorenzo Doss was a player that got his hands on the football at Tulane more than most defensive backs in college football. He picked off 15 passes in three seasons, and the Broncos thought enough of him to make him a fifth round pick in 2015.
He didn’t play much as a rookie logging six games and zero statistics, but there will be a role for Doss this year on special teams. You never know what kind of creativity you’ll see from the Broncos in personnel groupings either, but defensive snaps will be tough to come by. Doss is going to have to make his mark on special teams while waiting for his shot to get reps with the No Fly Zone.
