Denver Broncos wide receiever Emmanuel Sanders says he wants to stay with the team, and the only way he’s leaving is if they kick him out…

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is winning over more and more fans daily, and is proving to the Broncos that he’s one of the people John Elway identified as players who want to be Broncos.

We wrote on Sunday about the Sanders contract situation again, taking a look at how recent re-signings around the league could/will affect the Broncos’ ability to get a deal done here before training camp.

There are always self-imposed deadlines when it comes to working out new contracts with teams, and we’ve seen in the past that the Broncos have a pretty hard pre-camp deadline when they are negotiating new deals with guys who have one year left on their contract.

It’s entirely possible the Broncos will make Sanders an offer that he rejects, and they might not talk again until next offseason. That would seem to be a mistake on their part, however, as Sanders seems willing and ready now to get the contract situation out of the way and be a Bronco for the rest of his career.

The question isn’t about overall money at this point, as that has been set across the league on contracts recently signed. The issue could be guaranteed money, which in Sanders’ case, should be pretty high.

There are a number of players with similar statistical production to Sanders that received roughly $23 million in guarantees on four our five-year contracts. Sanders deserves that much, but what are the Broncos offering in terms of overall money?

That remains to be seen. One thing is certain, however, and that’s the fact that Sanders doesn’t want to leave.
