In the next installment of the Denver Broncos evaluation, we will take a look at the running backs and fullbacks on the roster ahead of training camp in July.
For the Denver Broncos, the running backs are going to be a key position if the team is going to get back to the Super Bowl this season. With Peyton Manning retired, this could not be any more true. I have no doubt that Gary Kubiak will be relying more on the players who will be carrying the rock this season.
The good thing is that the running backs that were on the roster or practice squad have returned. Although for a good moment it was just Juwan Thompson and Kapri Bibbs at one point. C.J. Anderson was being courted by the Miami Dolphins before the Broncos decided to match their offer sheet.

Ronnie Hillman was a free agency for a month into free agency until the Broncos decided to bring him back on a one year deal. For some fans, the moves were a bit puzzling. The thought was that Anderson was going to be brought back.
However, no one expected Hillman to be resigned or Anderson to get the deal that he did. Then things got a bit crowed in the backfield when the Denver Broncos used their fourth round draft pick on Devontae Booker from Utah.
So, where do the Denver Broncos go from here? We shall take a look at each Denver Broncos player who is responsible for running with the football. I will also add the full back position as well.
