8. Brandon Marshall

The first defensive player on this list is Brandon Marshall, the Broncos’ new top dog at inside linebacker. After signing on to the practice squad in 2013, Marshall emerged as the team’s leading tackler in 2014 and was second on the team in tackles behind Danny Trevathan this past season.

Marshall is in line for a contact extension, and has been showing up to both voluntary and mandatory OTAs essentially without a contract.

Broncos fans love this guy and his work ethic, and with the departure of Danny Trevathan, Marshall takes over as the leader of the Broncos’ second line of defense. He’s not only a great player in run support, but he’s excellent in coverage and one of the most instinctive off-the-ball linebackers in the game.
