Denver Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez continues to be active in the community, and took some Children’s Hospital patients to the prom…
DENVER–While Denver Broncos signal-caller Mark Sanchez is anything but a lock to be the Broncos’ starter this season, it cannot be denied that he is making a positive impact in the area, both with his teammates and in the community.
Sanchez, as reported by the Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala, made the prom special for several youth at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado last Friday night.
Sanchez took more than 100 teenage patients from the Aurora, Colo.-based hospital to the prom, as they had previously missed out on their own respective proms because of various treatments they had to undergo.

While Sanchez was the girls’ proverbial knight in shining armor, he admitted his own shortcomings as he stated he needed help with his boutonniere, just as he did at his own high school prom.
After the promgoers received some hair styling and fingernail painting, made possible by the contributions of local donors, Sanchez’s guests of honor strolled down a red carpet as cameras flashed, giving them the feel of celebrities.
Sanchez was dignified in his comments to media after the fact, stressing the importance of blessing others because he has been tremendously blessed, he stated.
Once again, it’s uncertain as to whether Sanchez can be an effective quarterback for the Broncos on the field in 2016, it’s quite apparent that he is a valuable asset to the team off the field. That of itself, is worth its weight in gold.
