Ryan Clady is released from the team and Russell Okung and Donald Stephenson are the replacements for Clady and Ryan Harris. The depth at the tackle spot is better in 2016 which leaves some who underperformed in 2015 on the outside looking in. Ty Sambrailo from Colorado State was the starting tackle before his injury, but was replaced by Michael Schofield and Harris. Schofield had more issues than anyone protecting Peyton Manning and Brock Osweieler. Sambrailo can be on the outs with the team; however, the team is very high on the Colorado State Rams product and hopes for him to compete and spell at the tackle position this year.

It did not matter who pushed Schofield over at the line of scrimmage, he struggled creating push to make holes for CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman, Training Camp and preseason will have a better indication of how far Schofield is along in the system since it was his first full season. As of right now, Schofield has no shot of making the roster with how he performed all season in 2015. Schofield is the second most likely candidate to be on the outs from the Broncos after his 2015 performance.

With a more consistent game plan and rushing attack, Schofield may show the improvement during the preseason to remain on the roster with consistent pass protection.
