The Rams felt like they were one player away, so they gave up a kings ransom to go pick Jared Goff. I like Goff, a lot, but I liked Wentz better. Goff is going to play like a rookie, so if the Rams are going to compete this year, they need a very strong defensive effort, which they should get, and a strong running game, which they should get. However, with the Seahawks and Cardinals in the same division, they may be one year away from breaking through the .500 rut Jeff Fisher can’t seem to break.
