The Texans had a nice second half of 2015, but didn’t enjoy their playoff performance a whole heck of a lot.  The Texans didn’t hesitate making a splash in free agency, spending a lot of money on quarterback Brock Osweiler, and running back Lamar Miller.  Is Brock ready to be the guy?  That is the $18 million question.  The Texans think so, but I have my doubts.  Bill O’Brien’s system is far different than that of Gary Kubiak’s, where Osweiler experienced the only success of his short career.  It’s always nice to be paid, but being protected by the Broncos defense and running game may have proven to the the better long-term move for Brock.  We will never know, but we will see what Brock looks like in a more pass-happy system.  Best of luck to him, pretty sure he is going to need it.
