Jordan Taylor, WR

Jordan Taylor, AKA ‘Sunshine’, has become the Broncos’ next practice squad player with huge expectations. Coming out of Rice, it was crazy that a 6-5 receiver with his quickness, athletic ability, and ability to make crazy catches was able to sneak all the way through the draft.

The Broncos have a true gem on their hands.

Taylor worked with an injured Peyton Manning, catching balls from him after practice and earning the highest compliment he could have possibly asked for from the legendary quarterback — Manning bought him a suit for all of his help.

In all seriousness, Taylor spent a lot of long hours working with Manning. He said that Manning coached him up on the offense, his route running, his technique, and more. I remember when he was addressing questions about using performance enhancing drugs that Manning said he was going to find a way to get Taylor on the active roster ‘next year’, meaning this year.

I think he’s done that much.

Taylor has been one of the more hyped second-year players on the roster. I think not only is he going to make the roster, he’s going to push for some playing time, and not just on special teams.
